Terms of Use
Effective October 9, 2026.
Apple's licence applies
Mess-tronome is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add to it. If they ever conflict, the Standard EULA wins.
Who it is for
Mess-tronome is meant to be used by a parent or guardian together with their children. If you let a child use the app, you are responsible for how they use it.
What you get
The basic metronome is free. Premium (auto-ramp, kid profiles and stars, dance breaks) is a one-time, non-consumable purchase through the App Store. It is not a subscription and does not renew. It unlocks Premium on devices signed in to the Apple ID that bought it; "Restore Purchases" brings it back after you reinstall or switch devices.
Payments and refunds
Payment is taken by Apple. Refund requests are decided by Apple: use reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
Using the app
Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, or remove its protections. The app is for personal, family use.
Keep the volume sensible
Mess-tronome plays a click and short sounds. Use it at a volume that is comfortable for the children around you. It is a tidy-up helper, not a safety device or an instrument for precise professional timing.
No warranty; limits
We work hard to make the app reliable, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law of where you live allows. To the same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the app. Nothing here limits rights that the law says cannot be limited, including your rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
